In partnership with the Center for Interuniversity Research and Analysis on Organizations ( CIRANO ), AlioSoft has developed a reverse electronic auction system designed to help shippers negotiate annual contracts for their shipping lanes.

However, when combined with modern technologies such as Internet and mathematical optimization, this approach becomes a powerful tool in solving what can turn out to be a complex task. Its numerous search and sort criteria, its ability to bulk email RFQs to carriers, combined with a continually updated carrier database, make it a highly valuable source of information for all stakeholders in the road transportation industry.
